Kanematsu Corporation is pleased to announce the establishment of a subsidiary in Mexico.
Details are as follows.
The Mexican economy continues to grow, centering on the automobile industry, which is its main industry. Mexico is also attracting attention because of its geographical advantage of being close to the United States, its many free trade agreements, its political stability, and its competitive laborcosts. A remarkable number of Japanese, European, and U.S. automakers and parts manufacturers have established a presence there. Given these strengths, Kanematsu has set up a subsidiary in Mexico to expand its business, particularly in the automotive and iron and steel sectors. Kanematsu will continue its efforts to acquire new commercial rights in other businesses as well.
