On March 4, 2021, Kanematsu Corporation (Kanematsu) was recognized as a 2021 Certified Health and Productivity Management (H&PM) Outstanding Organization according to the Certified H&PM Organization Recognition Program (Large Enterprise Category) organized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and Nippon Kenko Kaigi
Employees are the Kanematsu Group's most important assets. We consider respecting human rights, developing human resources, and promoting diversity to be essential in order for our Group to achieve sustainable growth. To this end, we must maintain an environment where employees from diverse backgrounds can be themselves and leverage their skills, and facilitate employees' development. We believe employee health is a vital element in that respect.
Kanematsu is currently engaged in the following H&PM-related initiatives, among others:
● Establishing the Kanematsu Health & Productivity Management Declaration and a system for promoting H&PM
● Preventing lifestyle diseases: Increasing the number of employees having regular checkups, improving the implementation rate of specific health guidance, etc.
● Preventing mental health problems: Establishing a counseling office, increasing the number of employees taking job stress questionnaires, etc.
● Promoting work style reforms: Ensuring appropriate working hours, encouraging employees to take paid leave, etc.

◆What is the Certified H&PM Organization Recognition Program?
This is an award program that aims to visualize exceptional companies that are engaged in H&PM and thereby make it possible for such companies to be recognized by employees, jobseekers, affiliated companies, financial institutions, and others as being committed to employee health management from a business strategy perspective. To this end, the Program is working to improve the social environment.
