Acquisition of Shares of Emori Planning Co., Ltd. by Kanematsu Communications Limited

On April 1, 2026, Kanematsu Communications Limited (“KCS”), a group company of Kanematsu Corporation, acquired all shares of Emori Planning Co., Ltd. (“Emori Planning ”).

As a primary distributor for communication carriers such as NTT DOCOMO, KDDI, and SoftBank, KCS operates approximately 320 stores^*1 nationwide offering mobile phones and other portable communication devices. It also provides mobile phone content, as well as diverse solutions that leverage mobile platforms.

Meanwhile, Fukui Prefecture-based Emori Planning serves as a primary distributor for NTT DOCOMO, operating four docomo Shops and actively expanding its business to corporate clients as well.

Through this acquisition of shares, KCS intends not only to expand and strengthen its mobile device sales network, but also to collaborate with Emori Planning in further expanding its business for corporate clients.

KCS will remain committed to offering mobile devices and related services through operations of locally rooted carrier stores, helping local customers live a safer life with greater peace of mind, convenience, and comfort.
