Kanematsu is expanding our aerospace business, mainly aircraft and helicopters for government agencies, and their equipment, components and parts. In the defense field, we are expanding our business fields through the proposal activities of various defense equipment, including target drones. In addition, in the aerospace field, we are striving to expand our business foundation through satellites, satellite-related equipment, satellite communications monitoring systems, and aerospace-related services. In the commercial aviation field, where recovery of the market is expected after the COVID-19 pandemic, we are performing active investment in the aircraft part-out business and aircraft rotable parts business, in order to promote contruction of an infrastructure for the future.
Creation of new business
As a part of creating new business, we started collaborating with a startup company which develops suspension anti-rotation devices for suspending loads from helicopters, rescue equipment, and construction sites, in order to improve efficiency, safety, and labor savings of lifesaving and construction work. We are also promoting demonstration experiments in cooperation with local governments aiming for the social implementation of new mobility services using eVTOL. Kanematsu has invested in a startup company and concluded a strategic partnership agreement, aiming for the development of business using commercial space stations.

Rotable Parts Business for Commercial Aircraft
Kanematsu's group company KG Aircraft Rotables Co., Ltd. (KGAR) has parts and components in warehouses in the UK and U.S. mainly for Boeing B737s and Airbus A320s. KGAR flexibly and promptly responds to the diversified requests from customers around the world for the sales of parts, leasing and etc. We established a system that is available 24/7 just in case of emergency requests for the supply of parts.
eVTOL and Drone Business
Kanematsu formed a capital and business alliance with Skyports Limited, and is performing development and operation of Vertiports for eVTOL, and commercialization of drone delivery services. While utilizing the abundant experience and knowledge of Skyports Limited, we are taking action towards commercialization of Vertiports which are essential for the social implementation of eVTOLs and drone delivery services.
Aircraft and Parts Sales Business for Government Agencies
As an agent of U.S. aircraft manufacturer Textron Aviation, Inc., Kanematsu has been focusing on sales of special mission aircraft for government agencies and related parts, based on business jet aircraft. Cessna's Citation series offers a broad lineup from small to mid-size jets. We will make proposals for ideal aircraft for various projects planned in the future, utilizing the experience and knowledge cultivated over many years to the utmost.
Development of Business Utilizing Commercial Space Stations
Kanematsu concluded a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a business alliance with U.S. Sierra Space Corporation that develops space equipment, subsystems, and commercial space stations, and are taking action towards business development for expanding the use of low-Earth orbit (LEO) in Japan and commercial space stations. We are aiming to expand business in LEO by shipping supplies to commercial space stations, performing manned missions, various experiments and development, and for entertainment use.
