On December 16, 2020, Kanematsu Corporation (Kanematsu) received "Platinum Kurumin" accreditation from the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare as a company with excellent childcare support.

"Kurumin" certification is awarded to companies that formulate an action plan based on the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children and then achieve the targets set out in their plan. Kanematsu had already introduced various systems with the goal of "fully harnessing the potential of all employees by providing workplace environments that are comfortable and satisfying," beginning with systems for balancing work and childcare. Recently, we have been making efforts mainly to introduce the following systems.

・Introduction of an Individual Flexi-Time System
・Introduction of unique paid annual vacation systems (Bronze Week System, My Weekend System)
・Extension of eligibility for shortened working hours for childcare

In addition to these, the Company is also actively implementing initiatives aimed at supporting the balancing of work and childcare and improving employee capabilities, such as career training for non-career-track employees, diversity lectures , and networking sessions for parents .
